BlackJack Boats is at the 2019 Raleigh Convention Boat Show in the Raleigh Convention Center, and we brought our newest creation, the 256 Coastal.
We’re with Collins Boating from Smithfield, N.C., one of our nearest boat dealers, so look for Collins near the center of the Exhibit Hall.
The Coastal is BlackJack’s newest model in its production line of premier center-console bay boats. While you’re at the Raleigh boat show, do yourself a favor and come check it out.
Like BlackJack’s other 256, the Coastal is 25 feet, 6 inches long. This hybrid model is an open layout suited for various uses, perfect for hardcore fishing enthusiasts who need a vessel that can get up and go in shallow water, but also can tackle bigger, rougher waters offshore — while still getting the exceptionally smooth, dry ride BlackJack is known for.
However, the Coastal also includes several “creature comforts” that set it apart from other bay boats, such as padding around the bow platform, multiple cupholders and removable backrest for forward seating, allowing passengers a more comfortable experience. Trust us when we say your passengers will appreciate the extra bells and whistles the Coastal carries.
With its easy access to the stern and 40-gal. live well leaning post, the open layout of the Coastal makes it ideal for trolling or setting up offshore on reefs or wrecks. The modified vee and raised forward deck and trolling motor make it equally capable inshore, chasing reds and specks.
Quickly convertible to a day cruiser, with optional deck cushions and back rests, the Coastal is a favorite on the the sandbars or a cruise on the Intracoastal Waterway. So, whether your mission is going hard for fish or going easy with friends for a good time, the Coastal will get you there.
Of course, all of these features are captured on the lines and hull design that BlackJacks are known for and revered.
